On Wednesday, AI stocks finally saw a rebound.
After SpaceX released a strong financial report, its share price surged as much as 12.4% during the session; Super Micro Computer (SMCI) raised its performance forecast, with its share price rising about 9.6% intraday.
Recently, the market had been worried about the hefty capital expenditures for AI and the high financing pressure—so much money pouring in, but when will it actually turn a profit? As a result, many tech stocks followed suit and dropped.
However, US Stocks Investment Network believes that market declines are not terrifying; the key is to distinguish: is it the company's fundamentals that have deteriorated, or is it market sentiment that pushed the price down?
Yesterday, I again notified our VIP community to open a position in the cybersecurity company OKTA at $194.8, and today the stock rose by 8.3%.
In fact, as early as September 1, we had already positioned in OKTA at $165; we are currently up nearly 30% in unrealized gains during this phase.
Additionally, I bottom-fished another AI potential company, which also surged 10% today. If you want to know its ticker, you can join VIP to receive it.
Of course, I'm not saying every major dip is worth bottom-fishing. What truly matters is your own judgment of the company's value, not just thinking it's cheap because the price dropped.
This is exactly why, while more and more investors are warning about an AI bubble, I pay special attention to the views of Howard Marks, founder of Oaktree Capital.
Marks does not currently believe the market has reached a true bubble state. He has a saying I think is worth pondering:
One of the essential characteristics of a bubble is investors’ "utter lack of awareness" of risk. Yet when all of Wall Street is already on alert for bubble risks, this "lack of awareness" is precisely missing.
This doesn't mean that just because everyone is talking about a bubble, the market is necessarily safe.
What Marks really wants to remind us is that a bubble isn't just about high stock prices; the real danger is when investors fall into irrational exuberance, start acting recklessly, and even stop seriously considering risk.
Looking back at his investment career, before the 2000 tech bubble burst, he warned about speculative frenzy; in 2007, he again cautioned the market against over-optimism. But during the 2008 financial crisis and the 2020 pandemic crash, when fear engulfed the market, he started looking for opportunities to buy at low prices.
The same person can both warn of risks when markets are enthusiastic and seek opportunities when fear prevails.
That's exactly what I value most about him.
Returning to today’s AI market, of course I won’t ignore risks from capital expenditures, financing pressure, or valuations. But I also don’t believe that just because the market begins to talk about bubbles, every pullback means the end of the bull run is near.
When the market is overly exuberant, beware of stretched expectations; when the market is panicking, check if quality companies are being wrongly punished.
This round of decline has indeed given me room to reassess and look for entry opportunities. Moving forward, I'll continue to focus on company fundamentals, valuation, and risk-reward, rather than trying to guess the market’s exact bottom.
When others panic, it doesn't mean you have to buy; but when the price falls below intrinsic value, you should at least have the courage to research carefully, rather than being scared off by emotions.

After endorsing CoreWeave, now investing in Firmus—Nvidia becomes the "AI Central Bank"

After publicly supporting CoreWeave but seeing its stock price plummet by 11.9%, Nvidia now plans to inject hundreds of millions of dollars into Australian AI cloud service provider Firmus Grid, whose IPO attempt failed. Nvidia is intervening in the AI infrastructure financing crisis in a manner increasingly reminiscent of a central bank, driven by a straightforward logic: every dollar invested by Jensen Huang enables customers to buy one more Nvidia chip. Currently, neocloud serves as a critical line of defense for Nvidia against tech giants developing their own chips.

Positive response to Changxin 4F2 breakthrough, Micron CTO: 3D DRAM is "long-term more scalable and cost-effective"

The global storage chip market has recently experienced valuation fluctuations, and debates over technological approaches are intensifying. Scott DeBoer, President of Micron, stated that although the company internally evaluated the 4F² architecture for a long time, it will stay committed to the 6F² roadmap and move directly to 3D DRAM, citing a lack of sustainable scalability for the vertical channel transistors in the 4F² design. In contrast, ChangXin Memory Technologies previously announced plans to launch 4F² DDR5 products by the end of the year, and Samsung is also considering introducing the architecture in 2028.
