01:19 PM EDT, 09/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were higher Friday afternoon, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) rising 0.6% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) adding 2.5%. The Philadelphia Semiconductor index climbed 3%. In corporate news, DocuSign (DOCU) shares gained 3%. The company reported fiscal Q2 non-GAAP net income late Thursday of $1.16 per diluted share, up from $0.92 a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.09.
