Breaking: Saudi oil tanker intercepted in southern Strait of Hormuz

The large Saudi oil tanker "Cedar," with a carrying capacity of up to 2 million barrels of crude oil, was intercepted while passing through the southern channel of the Strait of Hormuz. One hour earlier, the UK Maritime Trade Operations had reported a security incident involving an oil tanker. It is reported that the oil tanker kept its automatic identification system on throughout its passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
