Stocks to Watch: Palantir, SpaceX, HSBC -- WSJ

Palantir Technologies (PLTR): Shares in the software company jumped over 15% premarket after it reported strong earnings yesterday after the close.
BP (UK:BP): The energy company posted surging profits driven by strong oil trading performance and higher prices. Shares ticked up slightly following the report.
HSBC (UK:HSBC): The British bank reported higher quarterly profit and announced a $1 billion share buyback, but its size disappointed some investors; shares ticked down.
Prologis (PLD), Segro (SGRO) : Warehouse landlord Prologis agreed to buy its British rival for $18.8 billion. Segro shares inched up while Prologis stock was little changed premarket.
Toyota Motor (JP:7203): The Japanese automaker posted a 76% surge in quarterly profit and raised its full-year earnings forecast, but the stock slipped in Japan.
Space Exploration Technologies (SPCX): Elon Musk's rocket and AI company is set to deliver its first-ever earnings report as a public company after markets close.
Pfizer (PFE), Merck (MRK), Amgen (AMGN), BioNTech (BNTX): The pharmaceutical companies will report earnings ahead of the opening bell, alongside Spotify Technology (SPOT) and McDonald's (MCD). Semiconductor company Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) will report after markets close.
