This Analyst Just Discovered What’s Really Going On With XRP

TimesTabloidTimesTabloid2026/09/06 19:00

Crypto analyst Steph Is Crypto (@Steph_iscrypto) has published a detailed technical breakdown of XRP, claiming to have discovered what’s really going on with XRP.

The picture he presents is one of a market quietly positioning for a significant move. XRP sits at roughly $1.40, consolidating after breaking out of a compression pattern that has defined its price action for months. The setup he identifies carries a technical price target of $3.65.

The Weekly Breakout

Steph Is Crypto’s analysis centers on XRP’s weekly chart. Since July 2025, XRP has traded within what he describes as a strong bear market, defined by a falling wedge with a downward resistance line and a downward support line. XRP recently broke above this structure with what Steph calls “a beautiful weekly candle.”

He considers the technical price target of this breakout to be the top of the wedge, placing it at approximately $3.65, XRP’s all-time high. He sees the current price action as a bullish consolidation before the next upward leg. On the 8-hour chart, XRP broke out of a secondary bull flag pattern, with a short-term target above $2.

Key Levels to Watch

Steph is clear about the levels that define the trade. $1.30 is the critical support. He says the price must hold above this level to remain bullish. A break below $1.30 could trigger a much deeper correction before any reversal.

To the upside, $1.46 is the confirmation level. That is the price point where XRP was previously rejected. A break above $1.46 signals, in his view, that XRP is “most likely heading toward the technical price target above $2” in the short term.

Retail Interest at 90-Day Lows

One notable data point Steph presents comes from Google Trends. Search volume for XRP spiked on August 16 and has since dropped to a 90-day low. On a 12-month view, retail interest is near its lowest point in a year.

Steph treats this as a constructive signal. “Whenever no one is interested, you want to be interested in the crypto market,” he says. He notes that peak retail interest in July 2025 coincided with the point where locking in profits would have been appropriate. Low interest now, by that logic, suggests early positioning.

Outlook for XRP

Steph believes XRP could set a new all-time high in the coming weeks or months. The $3.65 technical target represents the outer boundary of that expectation based on the weekly chart’s measured move. The immediate test is whether $1.30 holds and whether XRP can reclaim $1.46.
