The number of Algorand verification nodes has exceeded 2400, and the ecological active level continues to improve

On December 20th, the Algorand Foundation announced that as of mid-month, the number of on-chain verification nodes was 2,122, and the current number has exceeded 2,400, indicating the rapid expansion of the node network. Algorand's node growth ranks among the top L1 public chains, along with projects such as Cardano (3,047) and MultiversX (3,606), ranking high in the active level ecosystem. The expansion of nodes reflects its continuous investment in decentralized networks and the increasing activity of users.

 

It is worth mentioning that the staking reward plan to be launched in January has also injected momentum to attract more nodes to participate. This measure is expected to further improve cyber security and user stickiness, laying the foundation for the long-term development of the ecosystem.

 

The Algorand Foundation stated that it will continue to strive to climb the industry rankings, continuously optimize the ecosystem, and attract more developers and users to join the network construction.
