According to Smart Finance APP, Meta (META.US) is seeking up to $95 billion in equity financing to fund its artificial intelligence (AI) expenditures. The company announced in a statement on Monday that it will issue approximately $35 billion in common and preferred shares—about $22.5 billion in Class A common shares through forward sale agreements, and approximately $12.5 billion in Class A mandatory convertible preferred share depositary shares.
