Stellantis, Wayve, French Government Collaborating on Autonomous Vehicle Deployment in France

07:47 AM EDT, 10/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Stellantis (STLA), British autonomous driving startup Wayve, and the French government are collaborating on deploying autonomous vehicles in France, Wayve said Friday. The partnership is intended to combine Stellantis' L4-Ready Platforms and vehicle engineering and Wayve's AI Driver with Nvidia's (NVDA) Halos OS running on its Hyperion computing and sensor platform. "While its impact is global, France is one of Stellantis' key centers for engineering and technology development, making it a natural home for advancing the future of AI-powered mobility," Anne Laliron, senior vice president of technology research at Stellantis, said in a statement. Financial terms of the collaboration were not disclosed.
