Pony AI Unveils Collaboration With Nvidia, inDrive to Explore Launch of Autonomous Vehicles in Kazakhstan

MT newswireMT newswire2026/10/23 09:24
05:24 AM EDT, 10/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Pony AI (PONY) has signed a memorandum of understanding with inDrive and Nvidia (NVDA) to explore autonomous mobility and has selected Kazakhstan as its first test market. The companies chose Kazakhstan because of its regulatory readiness following the creation of the country's legal framework for driverless transport, Pony AI said in a Friday statement. The companies now plan to evaluate the technical, operational, regulatory, and commercial feasibility of offering the so-called Level 4-ready autonomous vehicles in Kazakhstan. Pony.ai would provide its seventh-generation Robotaxis, it said, adding that inDrive would run the service from its ride-hailing platform and Nvidia would support the project with its artificial intelligence infrastructure.
