02:06 PM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ford Motor (F) faced a skeptical three-judge panel at the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday as it sought to overturn or reduce a $13.2 million jury award to supplier InterMotive for trade secret misappropriation, Bloomberg reported on the same day. Ford is accused of taking InterMotive's proprietary power control interface technology to a competitor to obtain a cheaper alternative, the report added. Ford Motor and InterMotive didn't immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comments. (Market Chatter news is derived from conversations with market professionals globally.
