07:17 AM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Micron Technology (MU) is introducing a new quarterly bonus scheme for employees worldwide tied to company profits, following profit-sharing demands from its Taiwan union, Reuters reported Thursday. The bonuses will supplement existing annual incentive payments and be paid half in cash and half in shares, the report said. Micron, the report said, will also raise retirement contributions for employees in Taiwan to 10% from 8% and add three days of paid leave. Micron did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment. (Market Chatter news is derived from conversations with market professionals globally.
