According to reports cited by Zhitong Finance APP, Microsoft (MSFT.US) is planning to launch its next-generation Xbox handheld device for the 2027 holiday season, with a subsequent model released during the 2028 holiday season. The devices are expected to be priced between $1,200 and $1,800, unless some form of subsidy is applied. Chris Ciaccia, senior tech analyst at Seeking Alpha, believes that even for a company of Microsoft’s size, this anticipated price will be a significant challenge.
