04:11 PM EDT, 10/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- CSX (CSX) reported Q3 earnings late Wednesday of $0.57 per diluted share, up from $0.37 a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.53. Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $4.02 billion, up from $3.59 billion a year earlier. Analysts expected $3.96 billion. Shares of CSX rose 4.8% in after-hours activity.
