- Stellar’s tokenized real-world assets reached $3.54 billion, rising 8% in 30 days, while reported holders climbed 15%.
- Stellar has added $535 million to its reserves of stablecoins, which now comprise an additional dollar-based asset to the financial network.
- DTCC plans to bring tokenized U.S. stocks, ETFs, and Treasuries to Stellar during the first half of 2027.
The balances of tokenized financial instruments and stablecoin on the network have been increasing and currently reach $3.54 billion in stellar balances.
Stellar RWA Holdings Rise Across Issuers
Bu11runner’s latest update puts Stellar’s tokenized real-world assets at $3.54 billion. The total excludes stablecoins and represents an 8% increase over 30 days. The network currently hosts 83 assets, according to the figures provided.
Spiko leads the listed issuers with approximately $1.8 billion in assets. Ondo’s USDY follows with $537 million, while Franklin Templeton’s Benji accounts for $501 million. Realiz holds $500 million, compared with WisdomTree’s reported $40 million.
Spiko therefore represents a substantial share of the reported market. Its position makes the performance of individual products important when assessing overall growth. Wider expansion among other issuers would indicate a more distributed asset base.
The network also recorded $560 million in RWA transfers during the past month. That figure measures asset movement rather than the total value held. Transaction activity and outstanding balances therefore describe different aspects of Stellar’s market.
Stablecoin Growth Adds Another Dimension
Stellar’s stablecoin holdings reached $535 million, increasing 49% over 30 days. This pace exceeded the reported 8% rise in tokenized real-world assets. Both tokenized financial products and dollar-linked digital assets have seen growth, as demonstrated in the figures.
Stablecoins can be used for payments, transfers and settlement between market participants. In that context, tokenized funds and other financial products have different functions. Their growth together can offer greater choices of value transport over the network.
But a high balance doesn’t always mean high day-to-day use. The reported totals do not detail the frequency of holder transactions, nor do they indicate the differences in liquidity among the products. Those details would help to differentiate growing deposits from ongoing market activity.
The number of holders also grew at Stellar during the reporting period. There were 23,810 holders on the network, a 15% increase in 30 days. Wallet figures alone cannot establish the number of individual investors or the distribution of ownership.
DTCC Plans Tokenized Markets for 2027
The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation plans to bring tokenized U.S. stocks, exchange-traded funds, and Treasuries to Stellar during the first half of 2027. The planned expansion would add familiar financial instruments to the network’s existing range. Its eventual contribution will depend on implementation and investor participation.
Tokenized Treasuries could broaden access to blockchain-based fixed-income products. Stocks and ETFs would introduce additional forms of market exposure. Each category may attract different users, depending on product terms and access arrangements.
The planned rollout also creates a future milestone for assessing network growth. Product availability alone would not establish substantial demand. Trading activity, liquidity, and repeat usage would provide clearer evidence of adoption.
Stellar’s existing issuer base offers a starting point for that expansion. Spiko, Ondo, Franklin Templeton, Realiz, and WisdomTree already account for reported tokenized assets. New financial instruments could widen the network’s offering if the planned integrations proceed.
For now, the reported figures show $3.54 billion in tokenized assets, alongside $535 million in stablecoins. Holder numbers and monthly transfers provide additional measures of current activity. DTCC’s planned 2027 launch is the next development to watch as Stellar seeks broader participation in tokenized markets.
