Investors Boost Dow, Treasurys as They Rotate Out of Tech -- WSJ

Fears around the AI trade are sending the Nasdaq slumping for its fourth-straight day, with investors turning away from tech and toward government bonds for safety.
Robust results from major AI firms are failing to lift traders' spirits. Anthropic's revenue grew strongly in the third quarter, we reported last night, and TSMC, the largest contract chip maker, notched another record profit today, boasting there is "no ceiling" for its profitability.
Still, weakness among tech shares is continuing. Shares in cloud-computing company CoreWeave, whose heavy borrowing became ground zero in the AI jitters, are down again after tanking 15% Wednesday. Overseas, South Korea's chip stock-dominated Kospi index dropped 7%, while Japan's Nikkei fell almost 5%.
Investors have flooded back into safer assets in response, pushing down Treasury yields and boosting gold prices. The Dow industrials and transports are both in the green.
