Carpenter Technology Names Jed Freeman General Counsel

05:00 PM EDT, 10/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Carpenter Technology (CRS) said Wednesday that James Dee will retire as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary on Dec. 31, 2026, and Jed Freeman will succeed him effective Jan. 1, 2027. Dee will remain with the company through year-end to support the transition. He has served Carpenter Technology for 16 years, while Freeman joined the company in 2007 and currently serves as deputy general counsel.
