- XRP Ledger’s reported all-asset value climbed from $1.25 billion in January to $6.14 billion by October, approaching fivefold growth.
- XRPL recorded $7.03 billion in 30-day RWA transfer volume, up 1,459%, alongside 423 tracked assets and rising holder numbers.
- Commodities, asset-backed credit and stablecoins lead XRPL’s reported asset mix, while institutional managers expand their tokenization activities.
XRP Ledger RWA growth is drawing attention as asset values, stablecoin transfers and tokenized financial products expand across the network.
XRPL Asset Values Climb Through October
Figures shared by X Finance Bull on October 10 show substantial growth in tracked assets. The all-asset value reportedly increased from approximately $1.25 billion in January to $6.14 billion in October. That represents nearly fivefold growth over roughly nine months.
The dashboard separately details $4.47 billion of asset value represented and $496.45 million of asset value distributed. These measurements refer to categories, and should not be added to the asset figure. The difference can be explained why individual dashboard totals may vary.
Another measure of network usage is transfer activity. The reported 30-day transfer volume for the RWA was $7.03 billion, which is a 1,459% increase. The dashboard also monitors 423 real-life assets throughout the ecosystem.
But the total volume of transfers is not the same as new investment. The same assets may move repeatedly between addresses during the reporting period. Consequently, sustained activity and new issuance remain important measures alongside headline volume.
Commodities and Credit Lead Tokenized Assets
There are multiple financial categories in the reported asset mix. The commodities are around $2.5b and asset-backed credit is around $1.6b. Stablecoins contribute roughly $1.2 billion to the tracked ecosystem.
Corporate credit stands near $448.1 million, while US Treasury debt accounts for approximately $344.8 million. Private equity, active investment strategies and real estate also appear in the dashboard. These categories demonstrate the range of financial instruments being represented on the network.
Issuer figures show further concentration across several projects. Justoken reportedly accounts for $2.2 billion, followed by CRX Digital Assets at approximately $1.5 billion. RLUSD represents around $1.1 billion, while VERT Capital accounts for roughly $551.9 million.
Other tracked participants include Ctrl Alt, Ondo, Mercado Bitcoin and Archax. Franklin Templeton also appears, with approximately $48.3 million in reported assets. Aviva Investments, Guggenheim and Société Générale feature within the wider institutional landscape.
Stablecoin Activity and XRP’s Role
Stablecoin data adds another dimension to the reported expansion. The dashboard shows approximately $1.18 billion in stablecoin market capitalization and $5.67 billion in monthly transfer volume. More than 81,000 stablecoin holders are recorded, with holder numbers reportedly rising 12.06% over 30 days.
These figures indicate activity across both tokenized assets and digital payment instruments. Participants can use blockchain-based infrastructure to transfer and settle with stablecoins. However, its holed counts do not necessarily indicate the number of users who are still active or who transact with a regular frequency.
As more people use the ledger, it is raising some questions for XRP holders regarding native-token demand. XRP can be used for transaction fees on the network and can route some liquidity on the network. But it doesn’t mean that asset growth will generate the same asset demand for XRP.
The relationship is partly dependent on the way in which individual applications deal with settlement and liquidity. Some transactions could be between XRP, or in the first place issued tokens or stablecoins. So network expansion and market demand should be evaluated independently.
The reported figures measure a starting point for future development. Ongoing issuance, strong transfers and increased institutional presence will be key in assessing continued growth through 2028 and beyond. The question for XRP is whether a growing financial infrastructure will lead to long-term value and demand for the native asset.
