03:30 PM EDT, 10/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were mixed late Tuesday afternoon with the State Street Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLP) easing 0.1% and the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) gaining 0.2%. In corporate news, Walmart (WMT) plans to expand employee healthcare benefits from 2027, including a new Zero Dollar prescription tier covering over 250 medications at no cost. The shares dropped 0.2%.
