Zhitong Finance APP has learned that Bumble Inc. (BMBL.US), a well-known US dating app provider, is shifting from waiting for user growth recovery to the possibility of undergoing a comprehensive transformation amid the capital takeover and the AI application boom. On October 12, US Eastern Time, news of Bumble negotiating a privatization deal worth around 1 billion USD drove its stock price up by approximately 50% to close at 3.80 USD per share on Monday, with its market value soaring past the 500 million USD mark. The potential major buyer, Ithaca Holdings, aims to leverage advanced AI technology to transform its portfolio companies, making this deal both an acquisition of a mature internet asset and an investment in AI applications. However, no final agreement has been reached yet, and the specific per-share offer price has not been disclosed.
