Quantum-Si Detects 19 Amino Acids in Proteus Program
MT newswire2026/10/08 21:0505:05 PM EDT, 10/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Quantum-Si (QSI) said Thursday it demonstrated detection of 19 amino acids in its Proteus protein sequencing program and is working to deploy the capability into a developmental sequencing kit for routine use on integrated Proteus instruments. The progress follows interim Proteus data presented at the 2026 World HUPO Congress, where a developmental kit detected 18 amino acids. Quantum-Si remains confident in demonstrating detection of all 20 amino acids by year-end and continues to target commercial launch of Proteus in Q2 of 2027, according to the company.
