XRP Rich List Updated: Here’s How Much XRP You Need To Join Top 1% Holders
XRP Ledger account numbers keep climbing, and that growth is quietly reshaping who qualifies as a top holder.
The XRP Rich List has shifted again. Data from October 2, 2026 shows the minimum balance required to reach several key holder percentiles has declined across the board. The driver is straightforward: a larger account base spreads the same supply across more wallets, lowering the XRP needed to land within any fixed percentile.
Top 1%: The Threshold Keeps Falling
Reaching the top 1% now requires 43,995 XRP. In early 2026, that figure stood at around 46,521 XRP, and in 2025 it was closer to 50,000 XRP. The requirement has dropped by roughly 31% since January 2024, when investors needed about 64,077 XRP to reach the same rank.
At XRP’s current price of $1.54, a 43,995 XRP holding carries a value of approximately $67,753. A total of 81,993 accounts currently meet that threshold, up sharply from around 50,370 accounts in the January 2024 snapshot. More accounts qualify at the same percentile because the account base itself has grown.
Top 2%, 4%, and 10%
The trend holds across all tiers. The top 2% now starts at 21,500 XRP, worth roughly $33,110. To reach the top 4%, an investor needs at least 10,010 XRP, valued at approximately $15,415, with 327,970 accounts currently meeting that level.
The top 10% requires 2,091 XRP, equal to about $3,221 at current prices.
Higher Tiers Demand Much More
Entry requirements rise steeply toward the top. The top 0.5% starts at 79,752 XRP, worth approximately $122,819, across 40,997 addresses. The top 0.2% threshold sits at 156,490 XRP, or roughly $241,115, held by 16,399 accounts. At the top 0.1%, the minimum reaches 275,019 XRP, equivalent to about $423,529, with only 8,200 accounts qualifying.
The 0.01% Elite
The top 0.01% contains just 820 accounts. Each holds at least 3,784,253 XRP. At $1.54 per XRP, that balance is worth approximately $5.83 million. This group consists primarily of institutional wallets, exchange custody addresses, and long-term holders with positions that have held across multiple market cycles.
A Growing Ledger Changes Everything
The XRP Ledger’s account base has grown by roughly 63% since early 2024. That expansion is the central reason entry thresholds keep declining. More participants distribute the network’s fixed supply across a wider set of wallets, making each percentile bracket accessible with fewer tokens than before.
For retail investors, the data offers a concrete benchmark. Holding roughly 44,000 XRP currently places an account among the top 1% of all XRP Ledger addresses, a bar that continues to move lower as adoption grows.

BUZZ - Cantor upgrades Humana rating, expects its Medicare profit margin to rebound strongly in 2027
October 7 - Cantor Fitzgerald has upgraded its rating on health insurance company Humana (HUM.N) from "Neutral" to "Overweight" and raised the target price from $300 to $460. The brokerage increased its 2027 EPS estimate from $15.86 to $17.96 and its 2028 estimate from $25.38 to $28.27, citing increased confidence in HUM's margin performance and quality rating recovery within the Medicare Advantage plan. Cantor expects this week’s upcoming Medicare quality ratings to be positive, and better scores would help HUM secure higher government bonuses in 2028. The brokerage stated that pricing strategies, benefits adjustments, and measures to control medical costs are expected to significantly improve Medicare margins in 2027. It believes that confirmation of HUM's 2027 performance forecast and 2027 membership in line with expectations will be the next potential catalyst following the quality ratings release. Cantor noted that HUM currently trades at 9.9 times management’s midpoint 2028 earnings forecast, compared to a historical average P/E of about 18x. Market Chatter: RWE Says Its Uniper Role Would Be Limited After Joint Bid With KKR
06:41 AM EDT, 10/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RWE Chief Executive Markus Krebber said any involvement by the German utility in Uniper would be limited after RWE and KKR (KKR) submitted a joint non-binding bid for the state-owned energy company, Bloomberg reported Wednesday. RWE is not targeting a takeover, given its significant position in Germany's energy market, Krebber said in an interview with Bloomberg. BUZZ-"Broker Opinions" Observation: As growth drivers for artificial intelligence continue to increase, Wall Street’s attitude towards Marvell Electronics is becoming more positive.
October 7 - Marvell Technology (MRVL.O) on Tuesday raised its fiscal 2028 revenue forecast to around $20 billions, beating Wall Street expectations, as surging artificial intelligence spending drives growing demand for the company’s custom data center chips. At least 11 analysts have raised their price targets; the median target price among 45 brokerages covering the stock is $325, according to Reuters data. Full speed ahead: Morgan Stanley (rated “Neutral”, target price $300) said the company's long-term targets are achievable in a potential $3 trillion AI infrastructure spending environment, but cautioned that the projected 55%-70% growth leaves almost no room for execution errors, setting a high bar for quarterly results. JPMorgan (“Overweight”, target price $360) noted: "The company is operating at full speed, and the upgraded outlook is not limited to a single product category or customer, but is supported by multiple growth drivers across the data center full stack.” TD Cowen (“Buy”, target price $350) stated that Marvell’s underlying growth momentum has fully shifted to its robust connectivity business, and the risks associated with its custom XPU projects have substantially eased. Melius Research (“Buy”, target price $445) believes that Marvell's market capitalization could reach $1 trillion if the company executes as planned.
