October 6 — The share price of homebuilder Lennar (LEN.N) rose by 2.4% to $76.24. According to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing, Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway (BRKa.N) purchased approximately 2.4 million Lennar Class A shares between October 1 and 2. The acquisition also included 15,028 Class B shares. The filing shows that as of October 5, Berkshire Hathaway and its subsidiaries held more than 28.4 million Class A shares and over 568,000 Class B shares.
