Shiba Inu netflows drop, price steadies above key support

Shiba Inu is displaying early signs of stabilization following several weeks of sharp price fluctuations. Activity across major crypto exchanges now indicates a potential pause in immediate selling pressure, as netflows have declined toward approximately 120 billion SHIB, a marked slowdown compared to the heightened activity seen in previous periods.

Exchange activity and netflow dynamics

Exchange netflow refers to the difference between tokens sent into and withdrawn from trading platforms. Elevated positive netflows may suggest that more SHIB is available for potential sale, raising the risk of further declines. Conversely, a reduction in netflows indicates that less SHIB is being deposited, which may ease downward price pressure.

Currently, total SHIB inflows to exchanges are recorded at nearly 551.8 billion tokens, with outflows close to 453.4 billion. This shift corresponds to a 0.11% increase in exchange reserves. In terms of dollar value, exchange-held SHIB has climbed by 4.85%. According to analysts, these figures suggest that SHIB has not yet entered a decisive accumulation phase, where buyers steadily absorb excess supply from the market.

Metric Current Value Recent Change
Exchange Netflow ~120 billion SHIB Declining
Total Inflow 551.8 billion SHIB –
Total Outflow 453.4 billion SHIB –
Exchange Reserve (percent) +0.11% Higher
Exchange Reserve (USD) +4.85% Higher

Key price levels and technical outlook

A striking development in recent days has been the seven-day moving average of mean exchange outflows, which has increased by more than 630%. While large-scale withdrawals can be positive—particularly if tokens are shifted into private wallets—this metric is historically volatile and should be interpreted with caution.

At present, Shiba Inu is trading near $0.00000598, recovering from a recent low of $0.0000049 observed in September. More significantly, the token has reclaimed and maintained its position above the long-term moving average around $0.00000565, having repeatedly defended this support during minor declines.

The next resistance zone stands between $0.00000610 and $0.00000630. Last month, SHIB’s rally lost momentum at this level, establishing a major supply area above the current price. For traders and investors, a sustained daily close above $0.00000630 could signal a stronger bullish trend and reinforce recent positive sentiment.

Momentum indicators show that the relative strength index (RSI) remains above 50 but well beneath levels associated with overbought conditions. This suggests there may still be upside potential if buyers return.

Risks and support thresholds

Potential downside risk remains if SHIB falls below the critical threshold of $0.00000560. Breaching this newly established support would undermine recent gains and could drive the price down toward $0.00000540, and even further to $0.00000500 if selling accelerates.

For now, declining netflows are reducing immediate selling pressure, but this trend does not provide a confirmed bullish outlook. Shiba Inu must convert its improving on-chain exchange dynamics into a convincing breakout above $0.00000630 to renew its upward momentum.
