We Asked Elon Musk’s Grok to Predict Where XRP Will Trade On October 31
XRP has renewed investors’ attention as near-term catalysts converge this month. Protocol upgrades on the XRP Ledger, a newly listed institutional vehicle tied to XRP holdings, and continued expansion of RLUSD have collectively raised questions about where the asset’s price may stand by month’s end.
With XRP trading at $1.50, we asked Grok, the AI tool developed by Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI, to predict XRP’s price for October 31.
Grok’s Stance on XRP
Grok was direct about the limits of any such forecast. “No one can know XRP’s exact price on October 31, 2026 with certainty,” the AI stated, noting that crypto markets remain “highly volatile and driven by sentiment, broader risk appetite, Bitcoin moves, and unexpected news.” With that qualification, Grok outlined three structured scenarios.
Base Scenario ($1.55-$1.70)
Grok assigned this outcome the highest probability, estimating a 50% likelihood. Under this scenario, XRP would rise approximately 3-13% from its current price. The projection assumes the XRPL Batch protocol upgrade, expected to activate around October 9, proceeds without disruption and is received positively by the market.
It also assumes the Evernorth/XRPN Nasdaq listing attracts institutional attention. Evernorth is a dedicated XRP treasury vehicle holding approximately 473 million XRP and expected to begin trading around October 8. Grok noted that technical analysis supports a “mild upside bias, testing prior resistance zones near $1.60 to $1.70.”
Bullish Scenario ($1.80-$2.10)
Grok placed a 30% probability on this range, representing a roughly 20-40% gain from current levels. This outcome would require the early-October catalysts to generate genuine follow-through.
This includes a positive reception of the XRPL upgrade, meaningful capital inflows following the XRPN listing, accelerating RLUSD adoption, and measurable growth in AI agent payments via the x402 protocol.
Grok says a clean break above the $1.60-$1.70 zone would need volume expansion and broader market support.
Bearish Scenario ($1.30-$1.45)
Grok assigned a 20% probability to a decline toward $1.30 to $1.45, representing a drop of approximately 3-13% from the current price. This scenario would result from catalyst disappointment, a muted response to the XRPN listing, or broader risk-off conditions, combined with a failure to hold technical support near $1.45 to $1.47.
