The U.S. stock market opened with the Dow Jones up by 0.62%, the S&P 500 index up by 0.9%, and the Nasdaq up by 1.2%. Nike (NKE.US) fell by 7.4% as the company expects its annual revenue to decline significantly. Storage chip stocks saw mixed performance, with Seagate Technology (STX.US) down by 14% and Western Digital (WDC.US) down by 9.8%. Tesla (TSLA.US) rose by 2.3% after its third-quarter delivery volume exceeded expectations.
