MT newswireMT newswire2026/10/02 12:27
08:27 AM EDT, 10/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BlackRock (BLK) expects to maintain around 30% growth in its assets under management in Brazil next year despite uncertainty about presidential elections next month, Reuters reported, citing an interview with Brazil Chief Executive Bruno Barino. Bruno estimates that the firm's assets under management in the country are set to grow between 30% and 35% this year, following a 12% growth last year, the report said. Barino said growth is being supported by increased interest among Brazilian clients in international investments, which account for about 90% of BlackRock's assets managed in the country, Reuters reported. BlackRock did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment. (Market Chatter news is derived from conversations with market professionals globally.
