03:20 AM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Oracle (ORCL) has entered into a five-year deal worth roughly $7 billion to lease about 100,000 advanced AI chips to Chinese technology group Tencent, Financial Times reported Thursday, citing two unnamed people with knowledge of the matter. The deal covers AI chips housed at multiple Oracle data centers in south-east Asia and includes an upfront payment of about 30 per cent, the media outlet added.
