Elmet Technologies Wins $36 Million Defense Logistics Agency Contract for Aerospace Materials

09:32 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Elmet's (ELMT) unit Elmet Technologies won a roughly $36 million Defense Logistics Agency contract to supply molybdenum and tungsten alloys and precision wire to the US National Defense Stockpile, the company said Wednesday. The contract covers titanium-zirconium-molybdenum alloy billets, bar stock and ingots, along with specialized molybdenum and tungsten wire used in jet engine components and other aerospace and defense applications, the company said. The award is separate from the $2 billion Defense Logistics Agency contract announced Sept. 14, which includes a $150 million funded commitment for tungsten concentrates and sodium tungstate, it added.
