Sector Update: Tech Stocks Rise Premarket Wednesday

09:10 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were rising premarket Wednesday, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.5% and the iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX) advancing by 0.4%. Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) shares were up more than 6% after the company raised its fiscal 2027 revenue growth outlook for its networking segment and secured a $1.2 billion order from Vultr to deploy AMD Helios AI Rack by HPE systems at its cloud data centers in the US. Jabil (JBL) stock was down nearly 5% even after the company reported higher fiscal Q4 core earnings and net revenue. Concentrix (CNXC) shares were down more than 7% after the company posted a decline in fiscal Q3 revenue and cut its fiscal 2026 revenue outlook.
