Mattel Names Roger Lynch as CEO, Chairman

08:29 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Mattel (MAT) has appointed Roger Lynch to succeed Ynon Kreiz as its next chief executive officer and chairman, the company said Wednesday. Lynch will take over as chairman on Friday and assume his position as CEO on or before Nov. 2, the company said. Kreiz will step down on Friday to take a senior leadership role at another public company, Mattel said. Lynch has been a Mattel board member since 2018 and was the CEO of Conde Nast, the company added. Mattel shares were down 2.4% in Wednesday's premarket activity.
