Moderna Names Juan Andres as COO

07:37 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Moderna (MRNA) has appointed Juan Andres to the newly created role of chief operating officer, effective Oct. 5, the company said Wednesday. Andres previously spent nearly six years at Moderna, serving as chief technical operations and quality officer from 2018 to 2022 and later as president of Strategic Partnerships and Enterprise Expansion, it said. Additionally, the company said its Chief Technical Operations and Quality Officer Jerh Collins plans to retire. Moderna shares were 6.2% lower in Wednesday premarket activity.
