Elme Communities Completes Property Sales, Declares Liquidating Distribution

05:16 PM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Elme Communities (ELME) has completed the sale of all remaining properties as it winds down operations, with the company also declaring an additional liquidating distribution of $1.74 per share, it said Tuesday. The distribution will be paid Oct. 22 to shareholders of record as of Oct. 9, bringing total cash liquidating distributions to $16.41 per share, Elme said. Elme expects its last day of NYSE trading to be Nov. 5, with voluntary dissolution planned for Nov. 6. The company said it expects to transfer remaining assets and liabilities to a liquidating trust following delisting.
