CANEX Metals Closes CA$9.5 Million Private Placement

04:43 PM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- CANEX Metals (CANX.V) said Tuesday it closed a previously announced non-brokered private placement for total proceeds of about CA$9.5 million. The company issued about 22.8 million common shares at CA$0.35 apiece for proceeds of about CA$8.0 million. CANEX also issued 2.9 million charity flow-through shares at CA$0.54 apiece for gross flow-through proceeds of about CA$1.6 million. Proceeds will be used for exploration, drilling, and pre-development work at the company's gold basin/gold range project, for drilling at the Louise Copper-Gold Porphyry in British Columbia, and for general working capital, CANEX said.
