Petrobras Signs Long-Term LNG Purchase Agreement With Cheniere

08:55 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Petrobras (PBR) has agreed to buy roughly 0.8 million metric tons per year of liquefied natural gas from Cheniere Energy (LNG) subsidiary Cheniere Marketing on a free-on-board basis for 22 years in a sale and purchase agreement, Cheniere said Tuesday. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
