(1) The Eurozone's Industrial Confidence Index for September 2026 rose to -3.8 from the revised -5 in August, marking the least pessimistic level since April 2023 and beating market expectations of -4.7. (2) The improvement reflects enhanced assessments of production trends, as well as order and export order levels, while finished goods inventories also increased. (3) Looking ahead, the assessment of production remains optimistic, but expectations for sales price growth have also risen. Employment assessment remains unchanged.
