Apotex Health Announces CA$1.25 Billion Senior Notes Offering

05:02 PM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Apotex Health (APTX.TO) after trade Monday announced a CA$1.25 billion private placement of senior unsecured notes across three series. The notes include CA$400 million at 4.390% due Oct. 5, 2029; CA$550 million at 4.769% due Oct. 5, 2031, and CA$300 million at 5.133% due Oct. 5, 2033, according to the statement. "The proceeds will be used to refinance existing debt and further strengthen our capital structure, consistent with our commitment to maintaining an investment-grade credit profile and disciplined financial management," Apotex Chief Financial Officer Brian McClelland said. The offering is set to close around Oct. 5, the company added. Apotex shares closed down CA$0.60, or 1.8%, at CA$32.10 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
