Quantum eMotion To Acquire Plurilock in CA$33.8 Million Deal

04:46 PM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Quantum eMotion (QNC.V) Monday after trade said it will acquire Plurilock Security (PLUR.V) in a deal valuing the company at CA$33.8 million. Plurilock shareholders will receive CA$0.084 in cash and 0.0763 of a QeM share per Plurilock share held, implying a value of CA$0.28 per Plurilock share. The implied value is a 100% premium to the 20-trading-day volume-weighted average price of Plurilock shares on Sept. 25. Quantum eMotion is acquiring Plurilock as it seeks to transition towards a broader commercial cybersecurity business with existing customers. Plurilock serves public- and private-sector customers, with procurement and contract vehicles across Canada, the US and NATO, a statement said. Quantum eMotion shares closed unchanged at CA$2.64 on the TSX Venture Exchange. Plurilock last traded on Sept. 25, closing at CA$0.15 per share.
