04:23 PM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Franco-Nevada (FNV.TO) after trade Monday said Chief Executive Paul Brink has been appointed chair of the World Gold Council. The World Gold Council is is a membership organization that represents leading gold mining companies globally. "I also look forward to continuing to advance the Consolidated Mining Standard Initiative, which will help strengthen trust, transparency and accountability across our industry," Brink said.
