04:17 PM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Coveo Solutions (CVO.TO) is expanding its relationship with Metcash, an Australia wholesale distributor serving the independent grocery, hardware and liquor sectors, the company said Monday afternoon. The company said its conversational A search technology "understands" the intent behind every query, and is able to help customers resolve everyday issues. The same technology will also help Metcash support teams assist customers more efficiently. The expansion builds on Metcash's existing deployment of Coveo in other areas of the business, including its online B2B marketplace, a statement said. "Metcash's continued investment in Coveo reflects a clear focus on equipping its retail network with trusted, generative AI-powered experiences that help teams find information faster, make better decisions and ultimately deliver better service to customers," said Alexander Mahr, Coveo APAC managing director. Coveo Solutions shares closed up CA$0.10, or 2.4%, to CA$4.26 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

She partially attributed inflationary pressures to higher oil prices caused by the Iran conflict, and expects the energy shock to subside as hostilities ease. Yellen refuted the notion of an AI bubble, arguing that investments by major tech companies are grounded in solid business logic.
