11:15 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Paramount Skydance's (PSKY) plan to raise over $44 billion from US dollar and euro bond sales has been set in motion, as Bank of America (BAC) and Citigroup (C) started holding calls on Monday to gauge investor interest, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter. The investors calls were to discuss the sale of about $32 billion of investment-grade debt and $12.4 billion-equivalent of junk bonds, the report said citing the people. The financing package also includes $7.5 billion in loans, which lenders began marketing last week, the report said. Paramount wants to sell eight tranches of US dollar-denominated high-grade bonds, with maturities ranging from two to 40 years, the report said, citing the people. For the junk bonds, Paramount is marketing a two-part, euro-denominated tranche, with maturities in five to eight years, plus three tranches of US dollar notes in five-, eight- and 10-year maturities, the people reportedly said. Price talk on the 10-year US dollar notes are for a yield in the low 9% area, the report said, citing the people. Paramount didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires. Rare in 25 years! The 10-year U.S. Treasury yield surpasses the S&P 500 earnings yield

The 10-year US Treasury yield has surpassed 5%, making bonds more attractive relative to stocks than at any point in the past 25 years. The earnings yield of stocks, as measured by the inverse of the S&P 500’s price-to-earnings ratio, is now lower than the 10-year US Treasury yield, resulting in a clear yield suppression effect on the stock market from bonds. According to the Shiller model, the S&P 500 may outperform bonds by only about 1% annually over the next decade. The 20-year paradigm of stocks outperforming bonds has officially come to an end.
