CANADA FX DEBT - Canadian dollar weakens, benchmark yield slips
Reuters2026/09/25 13:00The Canadian dollar weakened against the greenback on Friday, and the yield on benchmark government debt slipped.
The loonie CAD= was trading 0% lower at C$1.4139 to the greenback, or 70.73 U.S. cents, after trading in a range of 1.4134 to 1.4154.
Canadian government 10-year bond yields CA10YT=RR fell 5 basis points to 3.948%. The yield on similar U.S. government benchmark debt rose to 5.1793%.
U.S. November crude CLc1 futures fell $2.06 to $92.55 a barrel on Friday.
