TotalEnergies Board Backs Chief Executive Patrick Pouyanne for Another Term

04:00 AM EDT, 09/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- TotalEnergies (TTE) said Thursday its board unanimously backed its plans to propose renewing Chief Executive Patrick Pouyanne's mandate at the May 2027 shareholders' meeting. The company said the board also decided to keep the roles of chairman and CEO combined. TotalEnergies will present its strategic outlook to investors on Sept. 28, the company said, adding that the board reviewed the strategy, which is built around its oil and gas, as well as integrated power businesses.
