LPL Financial Holdings Reports $2.60 Trillion in Client Assets for August

04:30 PM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- LPL Financial Holdings (LPLA) said Thursday total client assets reached $2.60 trillion at the end of August, up 2.2% from July and up 15.0% from a year earlier. Total organic net new assets were $13.5 billion in August, an annualized growth rate of 6.4%, up from $7.4 billion in July but down from $17.8 billion a year ago. Advisory assets rose to 60.8% of total assets, up from 57.8% a year earlier. Total client cash balances were $54.4 billion at month-end, roughly flat with July. Net buying activity was $13.8 billion in August, compared with $14.7 billion in July.
