03:37 PM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were lower late Thursday afternoon, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) declining 0.3% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) down 0.5%. The Philadelphia Semiconductor index was shedding 0.5%. In corporate news, Meta Platforms (META) launched the Horizon Create mobile app and the Horizon Studio browser app, enabling users to build games for distribution across multiple Meta platforms. Meta shares rose 4.5%.
