US 7-Year Auction High Yield Rises From Previous Month, Demand Lower

01:09 PM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The US Treasury's 7-year auction hit a high yield of 5.085% on Thursday, up from the 4.512% high in the previous auction. The bid to cover ratio for the auction was 2.42, below the 2.50 ratio in the previous auction. Dealers represented 55.06% of the bids, with direct bidders at 17.09% and indirect bidders at 27.85%. For takedown, dealers took 12.53%, with direct bidders at 30.27% and indirect bidders at 57.20%.
