08:51 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Statistics Canada's advance estimate shows manufacturing sales increased 1.1% monthly in August, with primary metals and chemicals posting the largest gains. The preliminary estimate is based on a 73.9% weighted response rate, below the 92.4% average final response rate over the past year, wrote Canada's statistical agency in a statement.
