Canada August factory sales most likely up 1.1% - Statscan flash estimate

OTTAWA, Sept 24 (Reuters) - Canadian factory sales most likely rose 1.1% in August from July, largely driven by higher sales in the primary metal and chemical subsectors, Statistics Canada said in a flash estimate on Thursday. The estimate was calculated based on a weighted response rate of 73.9%. The average weighted response rate for the survey over the previous 12 months has been 92.4%.
