Scottie Resources to Raise Up to CA$10 Million From a Brokered Private Placement

08:15 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Scottie Resources (SCOT.V) said it will raise up to CA$10 million in a brokered private placement of shares, it said Thursday. The company will place up to 3.45-million shares priced at CA$2.90 apiece. It granted agents an over-allotment option of 689,655 additional shares for about CA$2 million. Proceeds will be used for working capital and general corporate needs, it said. Scottie Resources also amended the size of the non-brokered private placement announced on Sept. 11, to CA$17 million from CA$27 million. The offering and the non-brokered offering, together, are expected to provide proceeds of up to CA$27 million, or up to CA$29 million if the agents' option is exercised in full, it said. Shares of the company closed down CA$0.01, or 0.3%, to CA$3.18 on Wednesday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
