AbbVie Says Health Canada Issues Notice of Compliance for EPKINLY in Follicular Lymphoma

07:56 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AbbVie (ABBV) said Thursday that Health Canada issued a Notice of Compliance for EPKINLY, or epcoritamab, for a new indication to treat adults with follicular lymphoma, a subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. EPKINLY, in combination with lenalidomide and rituximab, is indicated to treat patients with relapsed or refractory Grade 1, 2, or 3a follicular lymphoma who have received at least one prior line of systemic therapy, the company said. AbbVie said the approval was supported by results from its phase 3 EPCORE FL-1 study, which showed that EPKINLY, in combination with lenalidomide and rituximab, reduced the risk of disease progression or death by 79% compared with lenalidomide and rituximab alone. AbbVie said it is developing EPKINLY with Genmab as part of an oncology collaboration.
