Delivery Hero Says CEO Ostberg to Stay on as Uber, SSW Transactions Underway

06:34 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Delivery Hero said Thursday that co-founder and chief executive officer Niklas Ostberg will continue to lead the food delivery company through its next phase, with transactions involving Uber Technologies (UBER) and SSW still underway. "Niklas built Delivery Hero and knows it better than anyone," the Berlin-based company cited its supervisory board chair, Kristin Skogen Lund, as saying in a statement. Delivery Hero also quoted Ostberg as saying that "since the [Uber] takeover announcement, I've had more time to refocus inwards on the company," and that he is "now more energized than ever to continue leading the company into this next phase."
